In 2007 the Regent SIFE Team won the Regional Competition in Charlotte, NC. and advanced on to the National Competition in Dallas, Texas where they showcased exciting projects that
have taught free enterprise to the Hampton Roads and international communities.
In the coming 2007-08 school year, the SIFE team will be working on building and expanding established projects like "Biz4Kids" where they are teaching school students the principles of establishing their own business, the "Orphan's Promise" project where team members are working one-on-one with Ukranian orphans to help them transition from the orphanage to independent living. Some of the dynamic projects they are working on include the "Mattanock Town" project where members are working alongside the Nansemond Indian Tribe to help make their dream of land ownership come true after 400 years.
Your financial support will help the SIFE team to sustain these on-going projects. In your contribution, you would be working side by side with them to improve the lives of people in our community and around the world.
