Service is key to who we are. Our Regent University SIFE Purpose Statement says:
Regent University SIFE members put servant leadership and teamwork into practice. On campus and distance education students work together on teams to design and execute projects that serve our community, nation, and our world. Team activities mirror Regent University’s mission by developing Christian leaders who uphold Biblical principles, leaving a legacy that glorifies God. |
Serving others brings me joy, excitement and a strong sense of purpose. I am thrilled about the opportunity to go out into the community and show our neighbors the love and light of Christ, and live out the mission of Regent University.
We have many exciting and worthwhile projects our team will be focusing on this year! Our team will participate in the Let’s Can Hunger initiative sponsored by Campbell’s Soup Company and SIFE Headquarters. We are so thankful to be partnering with Operation Blessing to feed those who are hungry.
We will continue our work with a local hero to make her entrepreneurial dream come true and ultimately help sustain her ministry. Our team will serve members of our homeless community, teaching them valuable success skills. We will hold our Anti-Piracy PSA contest to teach people about the importance of properly downloading copyrighted materials. We are honored to serve members of our military community here through teaching them financial management and success skills. We are also pleased to serve our students by teaching them financial management skills.

With God’s help and guidance and our amazing team who are committed to the cause, I know we will have a significant impact this year on our community and world! I am excited and I hope you are too!
There is always room for innovation and creativity in the services we offer! We need a diversity of talents and skills in our members to accomplish everything from video recording, presenting at competitions, and managing projects.
